In a recent news report, Gloucestershire Police Special Ops have reported that a local scaffold lorry was stopped today and the driver prosecuted for an insecure load. The company involved is also facing further action .

The incident occurred when police officers stopped the lorry on a public road after noticing the load shift while the vehicle was in motion. Upon inspection it was found that there were no straps securing the load, resulting in the driver receiving points on his licence, as well as a fine for breaking transport laws

Furthermore, police are taking further action against the company itself as this was not an isolated incident – another similar situation had been recorded earlier in the same area where the driver had forgotten to properly secure his straps before leaving with his vehicle.

Gloucestershire Police Special Ops is urging people to drive safely, reminding them of the importance of making sure loads are properly secured before leaving with their vehicles and that failure to do so can lead to hefty fines and prosecution both for drivers and companies involved. They have also issued a hashtag #drivesafely as part of their campaign

These incidents serve as an important lesson for drivers and companies alike that failing to properly secure your loads when driving can lead not only to hefty fines but also potential prosecution.

Gloucestershire Police Special Ops urges everyone to keep safe at all times when driving by making sure your vehicles are adequately capable of carrying your goods securely at all times – or you may face consequences from law enforcement authorities. #drivesafely!
