DVSA issued two fines to an overloaded van at Bristol, adding to an amount of £10,268.
The DVSA has released a pair of images showing a seriously overloaded van with its driver and operator who were fined by Bristol Magistrates’ Court.
The 3,500-pound van was equipped with modified suspension to hide the additional weight. It weighed 5,260kg, which is more than 51 percent above capacity.
As a result, the van operator was fined £9,270 by the court in Bristol, while the driver was fined an additional £998.60 for causing danger and endangering others.
