It is illegal to exceed the weight limit on your vehicle, and if you are caught doing so, you will be subject to prosecution. This includes being stopped at a weighbridge and being asked to weigh your vehicle. Weighbridges are placed at strategic points across the country in order to catch drivers who are exceeding the weight limit for their vehicles. This is a safety measure as it can prevent accidents from happening on the roads. Drivers who are caught breaking the law will be prosecuted accordingly.

If your vehicle is found to be over the limit, you will be instructed not to operate it any further and will be reported. Remember to stay within the weight limit for your safety and the safety of others on the road.
