Carwow, the online platform for selling vehicles, invited us back to their show to test the power and weight of four different SUVs. We sent our engineer Dylan Narsing down with a set of European made axle weigh pads to test a BMW, Lambo, Porsche and Audi.
First to be tested was the Audi RSQ8, which is powered by a 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 said to produce 600hp and 800Nm of torque.
Next up was the BMW X5 Competition, with its 4.4-litre twin-turbo V8 claimed to offer 625hp and 800Nm of torque.
The third SUV they tested was the Porsche Cayenne Turbo GT. Using a very similar 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 to the Audi, it’s claimed to kick out 640hp and 850Nm.
Last but not least was the Lamborghini Urus Performante. Again using a version of the V8 found in the Audi and Porsche, it’s said to deliver 666hp and 850Nm.
